Q. What do you get when you cross a rabbit with an oyster? A. The Oyster Bunny. That’s a fabulous joke for Easter, right? Considering Dave and I just got back from having Red Lobster for dinner… it’s perfect! We didn’t partake in any oysters though, and it’s a good thing since I wasn’t “Oyster Aware” until tonight when I read the facts at BeOysterAware.com. Oysters are serious business and NOT a joke.

I have been thinking about family vacation ideas this week. It’s Spring Break around here, and I’d love to get away and enjoy some time off. Dave and I have been on quite a few romantic vacations, but my memory of our first Vegas trip is probably my favorite. I treated us to an all-expenses paid trip to Vegas in which we stayed at the Paris Hotel (of course).

We had an amazing room with a fabulous view. We woke up every morning and had breakfast in the cute little Parisian bakery, and dined at the buffet (one of the best in Vegas in my opinion). The most memorable moment was when we went on top of the Eiffel Tower one night and watched the fountain over at the Bellagio. It was gorgeous. It was a cold night and we huddled together to keep warm and kissed.
